I hope Eugenie is not disappointed if there are not as much people along her carriage ride as were for Harry & ´Meghan. For most people Friday is a working day, so it is different to H&M's saturday wedding. Plus there is the probability of rain (at the moment around 50%, the predictions get better, the closer the actual date is). I so wish for a beautiful event for her and can understand that she wants the carriage ride through the village closest to her home at Royal Lodge and her grandmother's home as she and Philip are the Heads of the family. But I can already see that if the weather is not good and people do not show up, the cost of security will be an endless topic in the media.

Camilla confirmed to not attend. Clarence House says. Also this:

@victoriaarbiter Turns out Camilla is carrying out 2 engagements with a number of children on Friday 12th, Eugenie's wedding day. This stuff is not as easy to reschedule as you might think.

Makes sense. Just was too complicated.

Bit of a shame that Camilla can't be there for her wedding but that is the downside to having a weekday wedding. I'm sure Camilla has apologised at not being able to go and i'm sure Eugenie understands. She's grown up in the family - she understands their commitments are important to the charities they support.

I now just want to know who is going to be in the wedding party. I hope to see little Maud Windsor!

The little princess! Royal family releases never-before-seen childhood snaps of Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank three days before their 'special day'

  • Couple shared selection of private photographs including childhood snaps
  • In one, Jack and Eugenie are pictured celebrating New Year's Eve in Verbier
  • Couple first met at the Swiss resort seven years ago; it was 'love at first sight'
  • The couple will tie the knot at St. George's Chapel, Windsor on Friday
  • Some 800 guests are expected before a smaller, private party in the evening

Sweet photos of Eugenie and Jack. They seem like a lovely couple and I'm looking forward into watching the wedding on Friday!

Nice pictures but I was startled by this statement: "The last royal wedding at St George's Chapel was Peter Phillips - son of the Princess Royal - who married Canadian Autumn Kelly in 2008."

That bit is clearly a copy and paste from a stored document somewhere. Nobody bothers to check these things before bringing them out.

Ralph and Russo Shoes perhaps?

The carriage ride is scheduled to allow far fewer people to watch the couple in real life, so expecting as many people on the route that is far shorter (no long walk for example) would be weird. So, I am sure Eugenie will not be disappointed that fewer people show up; that's exactly what she expects and planned for.

I well remember people stating that no one would turn out for Charles and Camilla's wedding because they weren't popular and Camilla was positively loathed. There was also speculation that Diana fans would throw things at them and hurl abuse. Yet, substantial and supportive crowds were there as I expect they will be for Eugenie.

If nothing else, we Brits are a nosy lot which shouldn't be underestimated.

Everyone loves a wedding and still plenty of tourists in Windsor. Streets will be packed and I will be up bright and early here in the eastern US to watch!

Agreed! The crowds will be out even in the rain!

Could someone place the link for the live-stream sending of the wedding of the Daily Telegraph?

I’ll post every link I can find on the day. The Telegraph link isn’t live yet.

It’s also on Facebook and YouTube

I too will be up and watching early from the midwestern part of the US. However, the only channel I can find that will broadcast it is TLC.

I’m thinking wedding rehearsal on Wednesday. Wonder if we’ll get any photos like we did with Edward and Sophie.
Also, wedding party announcement tomorrow?

This is a long-shot, but I can see Sarah being escorted by her godson, Henry Haden-Patton … if his stage obligations permit. As he portrayed Martin Charteris in "The Crown", that would be inspired.

I thought the mother of the bride normally walked in alone, unless there are other children and even then not always.

Why would Sarah need anyone to walk in with her?
