I admire the Princess Royal for being one of the hardest working members of the House Of Windsor.

Thanks for the pics and gallery iceflower

I love that St John Ambulance are getting back to their roots with the cycle response unit.

The yachtsman is absolutely inspirational, and it looks like PA is having quite an in depth chat with him.

Think she'd ever go to the Congo? They are slaughtering the children there. If ever any needed to be saved, that's the location.:nonono:

I don't think she'd be allowed to go due to safety concerns but I am sure that she is involved in raising funds to assist these children and if the situation actually does settle down she will be there doing her best to help and getting her hands dirty as she has done in the past.

That would be cool to see as she is a real mover and a shaker. She makes a difference.

It is hard not to respect Anne for the public work she carries out. She has consistently been one of the hardest working and respected royals, even though she has a limited constitutional role.

However (and at the expense of sounding vain and lacking depth!), she could do with a bit of a make-over. Shall be introduce her to Gok Wan?

I would like to say IMHO that there is something about Princess Anne, which fascinates me; is it perhaps her uncomplicated and simple way to be?

Poor Princess Anne. I think her wardrobe is OK, it suits her style, it's just her hair. She probably likes to be able to do it herself, my suggestion is to employ a dresser [lady's maid] who is good with hair.

I totally agree with you, Tilla, that's surely one of the very special,
likeable qualities of Princess Anne :)

or we could all stop caring about what she looks like and start caring about the charities and organisations she supports.

Here, Here!!

That is far more interesting and important as far as I am concerned.

This preoccupation with how they look and what they are wearing is just so boring to me (not to mention I see it as a shallow person who cares about what others look like and are wearing rather than caring about what the person is actually doing).

Does anybody know if HRH's Save the Children Fund has swung into action in Haiti?

Well, I'll just answer my own question here:
Haiti Earthquake Children in Emergency
News Update
PORT-AU-PRINCE, HAITI (Jan. 21, 2010) — Another large aftershock, measuring 6.1 in magnitude, struck Haiti in the early hours today. Save the Children staff in country in Port-au-Prince heard already weakened structures collapsing.

Oh, I know we shouldn't be discussing this on the Save the Children's Fund thread, but she could look so fantastic, she deserves it, just a change of hairstyle. So much better publicity for everything she supports.
