What an adorable good looking couple  That light blue outfit looks good on her, oh well she looks good in whatever color she wears :flower: I also like the light make-up on her.

Thanks Xica for the pics :flower: I hope there will be whole body shots of them so we can see the whole dress.

awww thank you :flower: that's so sweet of you kaasmejsje :flower:

I'm not an expert in fashion, but i'll have to say that Letizia has the potential to be a trendsetter. I mean she wears new things (so more of setting the trend rather than copying the trend)- just like this pleated white skirt and remember that uneven ruffled skirt in Jordan? :flower: And she looks good in them :flower: Just my opinion

The Prince does not renounce the ideal of utopia to make the world a better place

In the Awards Presentation Ceremony speech, Prince Philip of Asturias expressed his conviction that life is a magnificent gift and a unique opportunity to do good.

"My wife, the Princess of Asturias accompanies me for the first time. We joined hands in matrimony five months ago today - a step we both desired towards building a home, forming a family, and sharing the precious wish to serve Spain wholeheartedly, with loyalty towards our history and commitment towards the future of our society".

"To confront these terrorist threats, we can rely on the firm commitment to fight with the efficacy provided by the tools of democracy and the strength of our convictions, which include the protection and defence of the values, assets and ideals that define us as a free and democratic society".

"We Spaniards have built up in recent decades and with enormous sacrifice, with understanding and generosity, one of the fairest, most prosperous and free societies in the world, and one of the most advanced in the defence of human rights".

I saw all the ceremony and definitively I didn't like Letizia's look, she seemed older.
The best moment of the ceremony was when Prince Felipe named Letizia in his speech; everybody began to applaud during a long time. It was very touching.
A pic from the moment:

Queen Sofia has attended the ceremony too. She was accompanied by her son-in-law, Iñaki Urdangarín.

I saw the end of it but couldn't turn on the sound (I'm at work), but I surely noticed that Letizia seemed somewhat tired, nothing near the glow she had this morning.

Some more pics from the ceremony...
I kinda like the look Letizia is going for (the older, more mature and elegant princess) but shouldn't do it all the time, once in a while is fine.
