HOLA! launches a special edition of over 300 pages of the new monarchs. The commemorative issue "Los Reyes Felipe VI and Letizia: La historia de una nueva Familia Real" makes the most complete photographic journey through the life of the King of Spain, from his childhood and training through their love story, how they met and their courtship, until the announcement of their engagement, the historic royal wedding, the birth of her two daughters and their roles as parents of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia to the recent abdication of King Juan Carlos and the proclamation of Don Felipe as King of Spain.

Zarzuela has informed the press that there is no intention to publish official photos of the king and queen soon. They are not the most urgent issue on the king's and queen's busy agenda in this year.

Thanks for tho information! A friend of mine has recently started going to Spain on business and has been bringing me back copies of hola! and sometimes I go on Newsstand to buy a copy too. Could any of our Spanish friends let me know if this is a special edition of the regular weekly magazine or is it in addition to the regular one?

Patrimonio National distributes the old portraits of the Kings (from 2010) to the offices and official salons
I guess we won't see new photos soon ... it's ridiculous though, casareal website has still JC posing in the King's uniform while a such a picture is missing for Felipe.

I understand they don't want to pose too soon in tiara etc a la WAX of the Netherlands but they should at least do the photo in the King's uniform so JC can be removed from the website wearing this outfit.

I think that the most Spaniards don't care at all if there are new photos of the king and queen. Firstly, they are interested about getting jobs for more people and the economical situation better. And they probably are interested on Felipe's and Letizia's work and if Felipe will keep what he promised in his speech on 19th June.

Usually all public offices put a photo of the King in his uniform on the wall. These pictures have to be exchanged, now they will use the photo of Felipe in a suit (from his PoA days) what is ridiculous, because when Felipe poses as King, the photo will be exchanged again. He is King after all, why not providing a picture in time that is needed in Spain anyway?
