At the ceremony of the Princess of Asturias Awards, scheduled for October 16, changes course and format to have a very small capacity due to the health crisis of the coronavirus. The Princesa de Asturias Foundation has sent a statement in which it has advanced that the delivery will be predictably transferred from the Teatro Campoamor in Oviedo.
Some of the events such as the concert, lunch and the reception for the awardees are also cancelled.
The Prize for the Exemplary People of Asturias will take place but in a different format than usual.

Like most events this year the 2020 Princess of Asturias Awards will seem very strange compared to other years.

Is it sensible to have an in-person awards ceremony considering the current pandemic situation in Spain?

I must say, everyone looked great. So nice to see Pss Leonor wearing heels, lovely dresses. The Pss's are really growing up. Infanta Sofia looks very nice in green. No more little girls ,watch out there are two stunning looking young Ladies on the horizon. Both Queens are very elegant as always.

Leonor is increasingly comfortable in his speeches. I noticed a great evolution from last year's speech to today's speech.
Queens, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia were very elegant. King Felipe VI did very well, as usual.
Of her generation, Leonor is perhaps the heiress who is being better prepared.
Speech by Princess Leonor:

I was surprised to see Queen Sofia in attendance too. Did she attend this event before after her son's accession?
