In the article also they remember the Princess and Leonor ... that nice ... this article clarifies that if in the near trips they decide to take the girl, this one will be the center of attention. :p The whole week one is going to make the Prince long far from house and of his girls, but it is necessary to work.

Certainly, I am puzzled of seeing how it will be Evo Morales's act.

Is Felipe going to attend Michele Bachelet's presidential swearing in Chile?

Yes, he will go to Chile, if it does not arise at all he will go to all the changes of government that will exist this year in latinoamérica. I imagine that for March Letizia also travels to Chile.
Besides, the Royal Family has very good relation with Ricardo Lagos.;)

Thanks Lula for the info:)

Do you think that Felipe is gonna wear a sweater to Evo's possesion?:D

i just understand that Felipe is going to another presidential investiture ceremony, right? this time it's on january 25th ?
and may i know which country is it?

btw, while we are on the subject, i know the translation said "taking of possession" (i got that result too when translating using the translating tool), but could we use the term "investiture"? it sounds much better...

I had read an information about the elections in Latin America in 2006, and if the Prince (or the Princes) come to all the changes of government they will have to travel to Chile, Mexico, Peru, Costa Rica, Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador and Nicaragua. Also to the investiture of the successor of Jorge Sampaio in Portugal.
This year they are going to travel very much, and it will be interesting, because in addition the Prince will have meetings with dozens of Chiefs of State. Also there is hanging the date of the trip to Israel. They will travel in February to Bulgaria, and there will be also an inaguration of the Institute Cervantes in China (it will be necessary to wait to know if they come).

Probably yes, though that goes Leonor I do not see it so clear, it is a short trip and they can go and return in the day without need from which the girl travels, a trip with a baby always is a mess. If Letizia rejoins in February I believe that the normal thing would be that she travels to Portugal and Chile, in addition, it is necessary to bear in mind, that the Kings support very good relations with Jorge Sampaio and Ricardo Lagos; besides the political link there seems to be a good friendship.;)

The Prince only attended it for the first mandate of Jorge Sampaio (in 1996). He didn't come in 2001, because it was merely a prolongation of the first mandate and, before that, he was still very young and still a student (the first election of Mário Soares was in 1986). But now he will most probably attend it, since he is the official representative of Spain in every ceremony of the kind.
