For those who have been commenting on Letizia's supposed nose job.  I think if you look at these pictures you can tell she has not had a nose job.
yes I agree ennyllorac, there was no nose job for Letizia, she has been seen in public almost everyday so no way that she had a nose job. And in this PHOTO there is still the bump that others claim had gone. And I've noticed that the 'bump' is only seen on her left profile. Her right profile is softer relative to her left.

Oh lovely pics kaasmejsje, thank you for posting :flower: Again this is a hit in the fashion department, I love this outfit - very elegant. I like the hair too. And they are holding hands

Spanish royalty visits Mexico City

Associated Press
MEXICO CITY -- Spain's Crown Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia of Asturias ate lunch with Mexico's president and met with the descendants of Spanish immigrants on Saturday in Mexico City.

The couple arrived Friday for a five-day visit to Mexico in one of their first trips abroad since their May 22 wedding.

The prince and princess were greeted by cheering crowds outside the Spanish Casino, a social club for Spanish immigrants to Mexico built near the end of the 19th Century.

"This country has always received us with open arms," Felipe told about 150 people gathered inside the club's gilded halls, decorated with portraits of the Spanish royal family and Spanish conquistador Hernan Cortes.

Centuries ago, the Spanish conquest laid waste to Mexican Indian civilization. More recently, Mexico provided asylum to thousands of refugees from the 1936-39 civil war and the regime of Spanish dictator Francisco Franco.

"We're very happy to be here in Mexico, to enjoy the hospitality and friendship of a country with which the Spanish maintain close ties of history, blood, language and culture," the prince said.

Outside, about 500 people waited to catch a glimpse of the prince and princess as they departed for a lunch appointment with Mexico President Vicente Fox.

As the couple left, women chanted "Felipe" at the bearded prince, who wore a blue double-breasted blazer. The prince's voice was somewhat hoarse during public appearances.

Princess Letizia, who previously worked as a TV anchorwoman in Guadalajara, Mexico, shook hands as she passed through the crowds.

The prince and princess attended a private lunch in the afternoon with President Fox and first lady Marta Sahagun at the presidential residence.

A visit to a photo exhibition at the Spanish Cultural Center was planned for Saturday evening. On Monday, the prince and princess are scheduled to attend the inauguration of an international conference of Hispanic scholars.

Hello!

Mexico says 'Hola' to Felipe and Letizia

A sunny morning and a warm welcome awaited the Prince and Princess of Asturias when they kicked off their first official visit to Mexico as husband and wife.

The down-to-earth royal pair arrived on a regular flight at the weekend and opted for a standard suite instead of the two-storey Presidential accommodations – complete with private pool, formal dining room and bathroom sauna – at Mexico City's Hotel Camino Real.

Their low-key arrival didn't translate into a subdued reception, however: hundreds of cheering well-wishers have greeted Felipe and Letizia at every turn. When the couple left to attend a lunch with Mexico's President Vicente Fox, throngs of female fans clamoured for the prince's attention while he and his wife shook hands with the crowd.

But former journalist Letizia, who once worked in Mexico, made a splash of her own, looking elegant in a parade of classic ensembles perfect for the mild weather. The Spanish royal family's newest princess appeared to be completely at ease at her husband's side as they attended a number of public engagements, including a photo exhibition at the Spanish Cultural Centre and a church mass at Guadalupe's Basilica.

Cute story I read in the mexican press: A mariachi band played for them at one of their stops today and one of th songs was about Guadalajara, where Letizia lived as a student/reporter when she was in her early twenties. Apparently she knew the song and quietly sang along, charming every one around her...The press reports have been very favorable througout their trip.

prince Felipe and princess Letizia in Mexico
oops, i repeated some of the images you posted, agm!

The pink outfit looks fantastic on Letizia. She wears bright, vibrant colours very well.

I am also loving some of the anecdotes shared in this thread about the couple by everyone, such as the "he's the boss" story!

Thank you everybody.

oh... i didn't really like that orange outfit...

I love Felipe's suit. :flower: .but the beard.ay he looksa bit creepty.

The color doesn't fit Letizia's complexion nicely or complement it at all. It also looks like the outfit is some combination, because of the two distinct materials.

Everyone is in their perfect right to pick away at this detail or the other, but what really matters is that the trip to Mexico has been a complete and total success. Everywhere they went they were greeted by large and enthusiastic crowds. Vicente Fox went well beyond the call of protocol by inviting them to mass on Sunday and giving them the use of his own presidential plane to go up to Monterrey. The Mexican press is filled with nothing but praise for Felipe and Letizia--they impressed people with their openess, their down-to-earth approachability, their elegance, their interest and intelligence. Much commented upon was Felipe's evident preparedness for his future role and Letizia's beauty--described in one article as a "fascinating" beauty.

As one Spanish columnist covering the trip wrote: Letizia even managed to impress the infamously difficult to please Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

So I am pleased for one of my favorite couples. They have certainly started off on the right foot--and strongly at that. Next up are Panama, the Dominican Republic and Budapest, all before September 10--and I'm sure we'll also be able to enjoy a few images of the pair at the Royal Family summer haunt of Palma de Mallorca.

Thanks lucys, I really enjoyed looking at the pictures and especially the anecdotes :flower:

I love seeing pictures of Felipe and Letizia everyday, but I'm really hoping that they'll stop and get some rest. Don't want to burn our princess out now.

You are welcome. And here's one final anecdote for the romantic sap in all of us--it describes events after the dinner on Monday night:

"When the dinner ended, the attendees were surprised by the appearance of the singer Tania Libertad, who, wearing a Caftan in orange tones, interpreted romantic songs by Agustín Lara and Jose Alfredo Jiménez. While she sang, the princes, like one more pair of lovers, held hands and interchanged glances of complicity. At one moment, perhaps forgetting the rules, Letizia tenderly caressed the cheek of her husband."
