And yes, I do believe that she could be stunning everyday, you're right, with the face and the body to match, personally, not a whole lot of other princesses can come close (not to mention, the hottest prince alive holding your hand). I do love Letiza, then and now, and do agree that she well put together for her events and position, but would love to see that "Red-Dress-Letizia" come out to "play" from time to time!

My take on Letizia is that she deliberately avoids being known as a fashion clotheshorse. I think she wants to be known for more than just wearing expensive and high couture clothes and being perfectly coiffed all the time. Many of us want to see her in these elegant, and costly outfits but unfortunately, this does not seem to be a priority for her.

Spanish/Polish in serious events/serious talks related to both countries, English in more relaxed social events. It seems the tour guide of the palace/museum spoke English.

The First Lady looks way better being a much older lady than Letizia.
I think is time to give Varela a well deserve vacations
Oh and to those peep toes too, they have earned it!.

You have some good points here. But I don't think the first lady of Poland looked way better than Letizia. The first lady of Poland seems down-to-earth and charming, but she is not a clothes horse. Most of Letizia's clothes are not bad, just the clothes are not new to people who are interested at royals.
She looked very elegant in this black/white outfit, however the hair was a little too flat.

Chances are that no-one in Poland have seen Letizia's clothes before so recycled or not should be irrelevant. She is very appropriately dressed and represents her country very well. The world does not need any more royal clothes horses. Letizia emphasizes substance in her royal appearances. It is great to see her having her own agenda and that she and Felipe are representing Spain together.

Today in Polish TV in program "Good morning TVN" was a short material about P.Filipe and P.Letizia and their visit in Poland.
I saw their meeting with president Kaczynski and inauguration of the Institute Cervantes of Warsaw.
Reporters told also how popular couple F.& L. are in Spain and why.
P.Felipe is handsome, inteligent, well-educated and he's fantastic husband and father. P.Letizia is a normal women which became a princess and in Spain a lot of people admire her.
This couple tries live like a normal family.
btw: during the Inauguration of the Institute Cervantes of Warsaw P. Felipe was talking Polish and he was really good in. Polish is quite complicated language but Felipe was talking fantastic.

Good to see Princess Letizia in purple, it looks really nice on her. And though my own crownprincess is giving me an overdosis of colours I think it is nice to see the Princess of Asturias in something other then the usual grey, beige, white (or any shade in between). Of course HRH could wear a potato-sack and still look gorgeous...
You mean Felipe actually speaks Polish or did he read from a note?
On another note, nice to see how the royal couple is welcomed/escorted by such high representatives of Poland (the president and the prime minister).
More on the Cervantes institute here. I wish they would open one in Amsterdam soon (and offer cheap courses of Spanish). Visit the website of the institute here.

there's actually a Cervantes institute already in Utrecht, Marengo, so I'm not sure they'll be opening another one in such a small country

two articles in english:
The News | News
Prince and Princess of Asturias on three day visit to Poland
In this photo that is being published again and again Letizia looks really horrible, almost ill. I wonder why agencies sometimes pick such pictures, there are much nicer ones of the couple, eg from the dinner of honor on the same evening.

That was very well put and I agree 100%. They both do their country proud and you have to admit that they are a handsome couple -- also great true companionship and affection. I notice that unlike most couples, their outfits compliment each other, (his tie, etc.) which is something most married couples should do if pictures are to be taken. This means that they have talked it over prior.
