Letizia's looking absolutely beautiful, and the press are just going crazy in their picture taking. (more reason for us here to rejoice ) I love the hairstyle she adopted for the dinner, quite different to what we are used to seeing. She's definately glowing.

A brief summary of this article:



The Prince of Asturias transmitted today the 'support and encouragement of the Crown' to the inhabitants of Menorca, in achieving a greater progress and well being. With these words, Don Felipe, along with Doña Letizia, started his visit to Menorca; an island of 'noble people, interested in preserving its identity, and that constitutes an exceptional example of historical fidelity to its own secular memory and its traditions'.

Hundreds of people applauded on the street the arrival of the Princes at the Hall of Menorca. The Prince praised the dedication of the Menorquins to preserve and protect the delicate balance of an island for which his grandfather (Don Juan) and his father (the King) always felt a special affection that they have transmitted to him, remembered the Prince in Catalan.

I agree the evening top was strange and unflattering. Maybe it looked better in person, and just didn't photograph well? Because Letizia usually doesn't make mistakes like that - if anything her clothes (esp her day outfits) tend to be a little boring, inoffensive and conservative IMO.

Looking forward to seeing her pregnancy clothes choices. Looking forward to seeing her put on some weight and get fullness back in her face (I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't harp on her weight but I couldn't help myself).

Me too. Her bag is gorgeous and the shoes are matching the pink borders of the purse. Letizia definitely has good taste for shoes and purses and she’s improving the way she combines them with the outfits. At the beginning, she always wore coordinated accessories and most fashion experts considered it to be a fear of making mistakes, somehow a conservative choice. Now, she's clearly more confident about her role and her looks too, and she's not afraid anymore of improving the way she matches clothes and accessories. She’s very stylish and elegant about it and I have to say I wouldn't mind to dip in her closet to pick all of her bags and shoes for me

In one of the photos where she is sitting down you can see just a hint of a fuschia blouse underneath her jacket. So I think if she opened the jacket we could see how the top, purse and shoes coordinate. She is so tiny, though, that perhaps the jacket is buttoned to keep her warm!

This kind of jacket is not fitted to be unbuttoned. The fushia top is one more of her cared details and Letizia's style is much made of details.
