Well, :), let's be fair guys - girl's gotta do what girl's gotta do in order to look good for herself and, in this case, her beloved prince. :)
She found her style and that's something to be given credit for. I am sure we will see more changes in her styling as time passes and she gets involved in official duties. Let's hope she manage to 'keep' her own personality and not let dress code fanatics turn her into her mother's in law copy. :)

Pedro Erquícia, the journalist who presented Felipe to Letizia, died.
https://www.hola.com/actualidad/2018...edro-erquicia/
https://www.hola.com/realeza/casa_es...etizia-felipe/
In January 1998, Erquicia interviewed the then prince Felipe on the occasion of his 30th birthday for TVE and in November of that same year he directed and presented the special program Sofia, Queen of Spain: 60 years of life. Recall that Erquicia was the host of the dinner at his house in which the kings Felipe and Letizia met in October 2002.

Letizia certainly comes alive on the screen and is animated and totally focused. I guess that is what Felipe saw and fell in love with.

Not sure if this is allowed but Letizia looks amazing. As a reporter she comes across as "very real" and relatable. And like it or not looks matter and she looks and sounds animated, engaged and very appropriately presented. I like this version of Letizia, it's like day and night compared to Queen Letizia's version. It's hard to see just how much she has changed.

I am not sure if I understood it correctly, but the clip said that at the end of it that her name is spelled Letizia rather than Leticia (as usual in Spanish) due to an error of an Italian funcionario (clerk?) who spelled her name wrongly with a 'z' as in Italian when "transferring it to a certificate". If so, was that document supposed to be her birth certificate? And why would an Italian clerk be in charge of that in Spain? It doesn't make sense to me.

October 31, 2003 was the last time that the then journalist Letizia Ortiz appeared before the cameras in her role as a journalist, just a few hours before the Royal House officially announced her engagement to Don Felipe.
