Isabel was his first love, However I dont believe that they are dating now.... I think that they are completly through. Just close friends nothing more. I doubt that they will re kindle what they had and even that they will ever be married. She has a child (cute little girl) Mencia with Juavier Soto (some think that the girl is Felipe's). Both Felipe and Isabel deny this. = done with

Eva and Felipe were together for sometime, as for the Five hour day thing, uh, have no idea, but, that says quiet a bit about any one especially when they are of upper class that they have to goto a Hotel and get some!!! In a way I can believe it, but, in a way I don't due to the fact that I believe that Eva was that kind of person, where as the Prince of Asturias may not be, unless however........... WHen she came to Madrid a few weeks ago with her nasty model thing. I don't believe that she and Felipe are together, but, that doesn't mean that they are not still privatly intimate and whatever else may be going on behind the scenes. = Not together, but, who knows.

Gigi Howard and he seemd like they had something, but, I think that because of the Tiger skimpy bathing suit photos and the Queen intervening they are not an item anymore, too bad.... = not together, but, still good friends.

As for this Argentinian model girl who is 24 and supposidly romered to be with Felipe, but, reciently I hear that they are not together, but, she will be in Madrid soon and made a comment about how she will try and get with the Prince. So who knows. She sounds too cheesy..... I hope that nothing happens. She sounds desperate.

You posted a picture of Eva in June, when she was judging a swimsuit contest in Madrid. The link for the picture is no longer working, and I am dying of curiousity to know what Eva was doing that was so awful. Do you still have the picture and could you please try to post it again? :flower:

I thought is was going to be something truly horrible - picking her nose or adjusting her underwear. Eva doesn't look good in any of these pictures, which is probaby why I like them so much!

Isabel family was the main reason. Her mother was married with some guy from latin america, reportly envolved in ilicit actions (many say drugs ), them i heard something about her stepmother tried to force things (of course that Queen Sofia didn't liked). And them she simple could not handle the press, and the only time that she spoked, she made a mistake to some, she said that she was girlfriend of Ricky Fuster (one of the so called "pijo" friends of Felipe. One that Queen Sofia realy didn't like at the time. Now he's married and has 3 kids).

I sincerely hope and pray that Felipe really does love Letizia--I am so scared he is pulling a "Prince Charles". Time has been running out for Felipe and he had to do something fast. I am also surprised his mother is accepting that Letizia is not a royal and divorced albeit from just a civil marriage!! I sincerely hope she does not become another "Diana".

P.S. the rumors about Juan Carlos and Diana are unfounded. Read Paul Burrell's book and Ken Wharfe's book on Diana.

Eva was never an appropriate choice for being the next Queen of Spain. While Letizia is divorced from a civil marriage, she at least has elegance, style, education, and is acutally the first Princess of the Asturias to be from Asturias!! Eva could never have adapted to being a future queen--Letizia can and will.

Ironically though, all of this would have been mute if Queen Sofia had let Felipe marry Isabel Santorios, the daughter of a Marques and well educated. Sofia rejected her simply because of her divorced parents. Now Sofia has accepted that not only the bride but the father of the bride is divorced also. Her Majesty, I feel, has been too snobbish in her desires and Felipe finally put his foot down and I say BRAVO to him!! I sincerely hope he is in love and happy!

Eva is truly gorgeous, just like Letizia. As far as is possible to tell from my distance here in the US, it seems Felipe and Letizia are a love match. I'm sure Eva wishes them both well, and I think that, all in all, Felipe made a good choice.

You mean to tell me that Felipe did not marry the absolute best choice of a bride for him b/c her parents were divorced? Are you serious! This is appalling. No, absolutely impossible. The intimate glances, the body language, the way they beam at each other, all are unmistakable signs of passion and love. Felipe could have stayed unmarried if he wanted to; look at Prince Albert of Monaco. The brevity of his courtship with Letizia is just another sign of how immediately they both knew that they had found the perfect match. I was jut looking at the Spanish Royal House's website and came across a link to the "Official visits abroad by HRH the Prince of Asturias". What I found interesting was that:
(a) he does A LOT of visits, sometimes 14 visits; but
(b) he didn't do that many during 2001-2003 (only 3 in 2001).

Was he going out with his previous girlfriend (Eva or something... the model) during these years?

I don't have anything against Eva though - but just found it intersting that the number of visits abroad dropped dramatically during these years.
