I certainly hope that they do. It would be nice to see all of Europe's reigning RF's adopt that policy. I think that in this day and age that it is time.

How very exciting! I'm glad this little girl decided to make her appearance now -- it is only 9 p.m. for me. Here I thought that I would have to go to bed (for a restless night of sleep at that) and have to wait to find out in the morning if Letizia had a girl or a boy.

I was sure this was going to be a boy because of how Letizia seemed to have done the same as Mary but just a few weeks later - wedding, pregnancy, early contractions - and now she goes and breaks a perfect run!

That would be something wouldn't it? Of this generation women could reign supreme, so to speak.

Congrats to the couple. I hope the baby is healthy.
I wonder what her name will be. When will they announce it? Do we have to wait to the christening or will they announce it before.
