Lovely ceremony, lovely pictures and everyone looked top notch. I do agree with some that Leo should have been reigned in a bit more. She was clearly disruptive at time. I think Christina had control over her daughter and they are of similar age. Also, why does Christina keep dressing her boys alike? It's getting old. Why doesn't she treat them like individuals. The aren't babies anymore and it no longer comes off as cute.

I've tried too, but I think what happens is that the pics are too big. Remember they have to be 20k or less..

Thanks, Anna, for these marvellous photos! As for Irene and Leonor, Irene is almost 5 months older than Leonor, which is a big difference for small children. Leonor is a very happy and joyful girl, and I hope she will be like that always.

DO you have a photo programme on your computer? I have a programme called picture it in which I can minimise the extension of the picture, to get it smaller and then you can make it your avator. That works pretty well, but I'm sure there are other programs as well. If it doesn't work I guess you'll have to wait until news ones are placed on the forum. GOod luck

They were great pictures, and everyone did look amazing. I think Cristina inherited the knack to dress her boys alike from her mother, who often dressed Elena and Cristina, and tons of times poor Felipe, alike!

In the videoes also it is possible to see Irene fled of her parents, walking along the garden, with her brothers and cousins or with her babysitter. But like it is normal the photographer centred more on Leonor, that in other children.
Leonor is a baby who still is not 20 months old, though for her size and her personality it does not seem. She is anxious and she likes to investigate, is in age of discovering the world. Actually, she neither created any scandal, nor cried nor shouted nor threw anything. Now is a littlel "queen overthrown " for her sister and it is normal that wants certain protagonism. It is evident that with the Prince and the Queen has it easy, mom is the authority and on this day she was very busy with Sofia.

You just hit the nail on what I find so absolutely enchanting about her: she radiates happiness! And really, is there anything in this world as beautiful and enchanting as a happy child?

Very nice pics, people! Princess Sofía is very cute, very different from her elder sister. The first time I saw her, I supposed they should be very close in facial featurees, but they are not. They are both beatiful, but different.
And what a wonderful girl Infanta leonor is turning in! Oh...Those curls! I just love little girls with blonde curls.
Vanesa.

I have browsed here off and on for awhile now and finally decided to register just so I could comment on this beautiful baptism ceremony. Everything and everyone was so refined and elegant. The environs lush and lovely. The Prince of Asturias family has completely charmed me. He is so handsome and elegant; she is so dignified and so unusually beautiful; both are so tender with their daughters; and the girls are just divine.
Thanks for all the people who post all the pictures. I really enjoyed looking at them.

So funny - you can't get it right.
Here people think Leonor was a bit too wild and disturbing the ceremony (and if you look at the King's face he might share this opinion ); over at the Danish forum people found it strange that Christian behaved so well and remained seated during the ceremony
Children have different personalities and different temperaments so I don't get the critizism. It's supposed to be a happy event - a baby being the center of attention - and why forcing a 20 month old child into a certain behaviour. Won't work anyway and rather spoil the event completely

Completely agree Duke of marmalade, you can't force a behaviour on a 2 years old child.
Leonor is an active girl, who can't stay in one place for more then a minute.
Christian is a quiet child, who prefers to stay close to his parents.
Why make any of them behave otherwise?
