I think this is the first time Rania has accompanied Abdullah on a foreign visit in a while?

yes since their trip to the US this past September.
Im looking forward to seeing pictures from this trip. There was a record number of pictures of sad events (funerals, memorials etc) this year, not to mention endless conferences and summits. Oh and lets not forget the postponed state visit to the Netherlands.
I'd give anything to see a little more glamour. There's still more than a week left in 2005, Im still hopefull.

Queen Rania looks gorgeous. Its been so long since I've seen her hair in an updo. I think she has worn this jacket before, during her trip to the US in September.

Thnak you for the photos Humera. I'll haveto email my friends in Athens to see what the Greeks think of the Royal Couple!

Let me correct myself...QR didnt wear that blue jacket during her trip to the US in September. She wore a grey one with a similar neckline.
This blue jacket looks familiar to me because its part of the Fall 2005 Roland Mouret collection.

Thank you for the pictures fanletizia and purple platinum.
The Queen looks wonderful as usual but I'd have loved to see her wear more colour during this trip. Her fall wardrobe this year has been all black and grey (aside from the the black she wore after the Amman bombing)

more of Queen Rania (from ANP)

They seem to be incorporating more members of the JRF when they travel. Prince Ali, this time. But Princess Raiyah and Prince Feisal were with them on their last trip. I think this is a positive thing because it allows KA's siblings to join them in representing Jordan and more possibly can be accomplished as there are more members of the JRF along. And, yes, Queen Rania looks stunning. Everytime I see former Presidents Bush and Clinton still appealing for aid for Hurricane Katrina victims--and their promos are aired daily--I can't help but wish QR's appeals for Pakistan were being given, if not equal, at least some time on TV here.

Rania looks gr8t as always, but the knitted sleeves on her grey jacket looked kinda weird!!!

Wonderful pictures, their trip seems to have ben a success!

Jordian Royal Take an Olympic Break in Athens
The Jordanian royals have been enjoying a visit to one of the world's most fascinating cities. King Mohammed and his wife Queen Rania, who are both keen students of history, got a glimpse of Greece's glorious past when they were given a guided tour of the country's capital city, Athens...........
