Papal visit ‘primarily spiritual’

The pontiff confirmed his May 8-15 visit to Jordan and the Holy Land during the end of his customary Sunday Angelus prayer through a live TV broadcast from the Vatican on Sunday.

. . . The visit to Jordan will be His Holiness' 12th international visit and the first to an Arab country since he became Pope in April 2005.

. . . Bishop Selim Sayegh, the Latin Patriarchal Vicar for Jordan, noted that the pilgrimage to Jordan is an assent to the invitation extended by His Majesty King Abdullah. He pointed out Jordan's biblical significance as a "blessed and holy land".

"The invitation from His Majesty was delivered personally to Pope Benedict XVI by Her Majesty Queen Rania during her private audience with His Holiness in 2007," Jordan Times

What's twitter? :s

Twittering is a new way of communication. It's a free social messaging, which allows to normal people and everybody to send their "amatoring" videos and photos, via mobile, and to keep world informed in real time. Most time, some events when they happen, they are twittered and sent to fews millions twitters, only after few seconds, and much before professionnal agencies.

I think this happened with this Pope visit, few people twittred some pics and videos.

Thanks for all pictures and videos. Wonderful pictures of the family, but Husseins hair looks horrible . Rania looks beautiful.

Princess Noor was not in airport with Hamzah, perhaps next Monday we can see her. In the airport were Hamzah, Talal, Ghida, Ali, Rym, Ghazi, Areej, Raad, Majda and Percy Gardiner (Princess Muna´s father).
