Swedish Royals Attend Funeral of Late Mistress of the Robes

The funeral service of Countess Alice Trolle-Wachtmeister took place on Wednesday afternoon at the Trolle Ljungby Church in Skåne. The late Countess died on June 26 at the age of 91. Swedish Court Mourns Death of Countess Alice Trolle-Wachtmeister

It was announced Monday that Countess Alice Trolle-Wachtmeister, the former Mistress of the Robes of the Swedish Royal Court, has passed away at her home in Skåne, Trolle-Ljungby Castle. New Pictures of Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar Released Ahead of National Day Celebrations

The Swedish Royal House has released new pictures ahead of today’s National Day celebrations. Two pictures were released, one features Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar, while the second picture features only Princess Estelle. They were taken in the garden of Haga Palace and were photographed by Erika Gerdemark. Happy National Day Sweden!

Swedish King Marks Veterans Day

In Stockolm’s Royal Djurgården at the National Maritime Museum on Monday, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Prince Carl Philip honoured Sweden’s military veterans during the annual Veterans Day commemorations. The King laid a wreath at the national veterans monument, Restare, before he presented a Armed Forces’ merit medal and the medal presented to soldiers injured in combat.
