Princess Marie Joins CBRNE Terrorism Response Exercise

As part of her role with the Danish Emergency Management Agency (DEMA), Princess Marie today visited Hillerød where a joint terrorism response exercise was taking place. The Princess watched as local and national agencies ran through various exercises designed to “enhance their ability to coordinate and handle a major terrorist incident”. Frederik And Haakon Join 30,000 Skiers In Norway

Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and Crown Prince Haakon of Norway joined about 30,000 cross country skiers in Norway’s oldest race named Birkebeinerrennet. The event kicked off this morning at 8:30am Norwegian time and the distance race was 54km. One rule of the race is that all participants must carry a backpack with 3.5kg on their backs during the race.

Crown Princess Mary Attends Jaha’s Promise Documentary Premiere

Denmark’s Crown Princess this afternoon attended the world premiere of the documentary Jaha’s Promise at the Grand Theatre in Copenhagen. The documentary follows the story of Gambian-born Jaha Dukureh, who went through female circumcision as a newborn and was married off at the age of 15. Queen Margrethe II Marks 500 Years Since The Reformation

Crown Princess Mary Opens The “Jewellery Box” Exhibition

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark opened the exhibition “Jewellery Box” in the Old City of Aarhus. The exhibition is on display in an underground gallery and showcases Danish jewellery from the 20th century. Crown Prince Frederik Visits Danish Air Force In France

On January 30 and 31, the Crown Prince of Denmark was in France where he was visiting the Danish Air Force ‘Winter Hide’ exercise.
