The Danish New Years Courts have begun in Copenhagen, with a glittering gala held at Christian VII’s Palace in Amalienborg this evening. Christmas Family Gathering At Fredensborg

Queen Margrethe II of Denmark invited her extended family for Christmas in Denmark this year, for the first large Christmas gathering since 2006. Princess Marie Visits Saudi Arabia With Danish University

In conjunction with her long-standing partnership with the Syddansk Universitet, Princess Marie yesterday paid a visit to Saudi Arabia, where she visited the Princess Nora bint Abdulrahman University (PNU). The University, which is located on the outskirts of the Saudi capital Riyadh, is the largest women’s university in the world. Crown Princess Mary Unveils 2014 Christmas Seal

As patron of the Julemærkefonden, Crown Princess Mary today unveiled the foundation’s Christmas Seal for the coming holiday season at the Copenhagen Town Hall. The 2014 edition of the seal (or stamp) was designed by Jacob Kühnel, and shows a number of Christmas-related drawings which come together to create a one large image.
