The Crown Prince of Denmark today was present at the final of the School Olympics at the Østerbro Stadium. Around 7,600 students from 320 schools around the country participated in the sports day, which mirrored the actual Olympics but on a smaller scale (naturally!). As patron of DanChurchAid, Princess Marie attended a campaign ‘Behind So it Batter!’ at the N. Zahle Seminarie School in Copenhagen. Princess Marie baked with 4th graders and then helped them sell their stuff during recess. The concept of the campaign is to get people to bake whatever they want, sell their stuff and donate the money to DanChurchAid. DanChurchAid then donates the money to combat hinger around the world.
