Frederik And Haakon Join 30,000 Skiers In Norway

Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and Crown Prince Haakon of Norway joined about 30,000 cross country skiers in Norway’s oldest race named Birkebeinerrennet. The event kicked off this morning at 8:30am Norwegian time and the distance race was 54km. One rule of the race is that all participants must carry a backpack with 3.5kg on their backs during the race.

Happy 10th Birthday Lalla Khadija

Lalla Khadija of Morocco celebrates her 10th birthday today. Born on February 28, 2007, Lalla Kadija is the second child and only daughter of King Mohammed VI of Morocco and Lalla Salma. Lalla Khadija has a brother, Crown Prince of Morocco, Moulay Hassan. On the day of Lalla Khadija’s birth, King Mohammed granted a royal pardon to thousands of prisoners.

Princess Haya Opens and Tours Cancer Centre In Dubai

Princess Haya Bint Al Hussain officially opened The Comprehensive Cancer Centre (CCC) in Dubai today with senior health officials. Princess Haya who is Chairperson of Dubai Healthcare City Authority, toured the facility and was briefed about the different areas and medical treatments offered. Princess Haya also stopped by two patients, an adult and a child who are currently undergoing treatment.

Crown Princess Mary Opens The “Jewellery Box” Exhibition

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark opened the exhibition “Jewellery Box” in the Old City of Aarhus. The exhibition is on display in an underground gallery and showcases Danish jewellery from the 20th century. Princess Mary opened the exhibition and was taken a small tour where about 1,000 various pieces of jewelry are on display.

Sheikh Mohammed Visits India: Day 1

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has started a three day visit to India. Sheikh Mohammed arrived in Delhi and and will be attending the 68th Republic Day celebrations as chief guest. Upon arrival, Sheikh Mohammed received a very warm welcoming from Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi at the airport.
