Queen Mathilde’s Working Visit to Vietnam: Last Day
Queen Mathilde started her third and last day in Vietnam today, Thursday May 11, in Lao Cai.
The first stop was in Hang Lao Chai village where the Queen visited a community-based nutrition club established with the support of UNICEF “where parents and caregivers learn how to prepare nutritious meals using locally available ingredients”.
Afterwards the Queen paid a visit to the Hau Thao Lower Secondary School where she met with students and teachers to talk about the importance of mental health. During the visit the Queen was also informed about the progress made by Vietnam to promote a positive mental health thanks to the help of UNICEF and its partners that “help children and young people achieve and maintain healthy lifestyles”.
