Danish Official Visit to India: Day Two

Today, Monday February 27, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary started the second day of the official visit to India by meeting with India’s Foreign Minister H.E. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
Then the Royal Couple paid a visit to the Raj Ghat, a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, where they laid a wreath and signed the guestbook.
At noon the Crown Prince and the Crown Princess were received by India’s Vice President HE Jagdeep Dhankhar. Following a meeting the Vice President hosted a luncheon for the Royal Couple.
In the afternoon Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary officially opened the exhibition “Silver Treasures from Denmark and India” at the National Museum in New Delhi. This exhibition shows “a diverse variety of Silver artworks” and “more than 250 extraordinary silver objects segregated into five different themes that explores the craftsmanship and silversmith techniques” from both countries. After the opening the Royal Couple toured the exhibition.
In the evening took place a dinner with representatives of Danish and Indian companies
