Danish Crown Prince Couple Begins Official Visit to India

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary started today, Sunday February 26, a four-day official visit to India.
The Royal Couple arrived in India accompanied by a large business and institutional delegation comprising of Danish Ministers and CEOs of Danish companies.
On their first day, the Crown Prince and Crown Princess paid a visit to the famous mausoleum, Taj Mahal, built in Agra between 1631 and 1648 and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983.
Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary posed for the press sitting in front of the monument on the marble bench. The Royal Couple also toured the monument accompanied by a superintending archaeologist.
Then the Royal Couple visited the Agra Fort, a historical fort in the city of Agra, on the banks of the Yamuna River. The fort was buildt between 1565 and 1573 and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983.
