Princess Marie’s Working Visit to Cambodia – Day Four

Today, Wednesday April 6, fourth day of the working visit to Cambodia, Princess Marie paid a visit to the province of Takeo. There the Princess visited farmers who work in the field of rice cultivation and grasshopper farming. These farmers were supported by DanChurchAid “to create a healthy personal economy by selling grasshoppers and thus create a financial foundation for a better life”.
Princess Marie met with the farmers and also cooked grasshopper for those present and for the press who is following her trip.
Then the Princess paid a visit to Cambodian Center for Independent Media, an isntitution founded in 2007 that aims “to work for the promotion of independent media, press freedom, freedom of expression, access to information and internet freedom”. DanChurchAid is a partner of the institution.
