Princess Marie’s Working Visit to Cambodia – Day Three
Princess Marie started her third day in Cambodia today, Tuesday April 5, by visiting the Kampong Chhnang Province.
Before the starting of the day schedule, the Princess attended a Buddhist ceremony during which she was blessed by a Buddhist monk.
Then the Princess paid a visit to Farmer and Nature Net, a non-profit and non-political farmer organization and DanChurchAid’s partner. The organizaion, established in 2003, “acts as an umbrella to represent and serve the interests of self-help associations, agricultural cooperatives, and provides technical assistances on capacity building”.
Later Princess Marie visited Kraing Leav Samki, an agricultural cooperative established in 2012 that offers “training on agricultural techniques”. During the visit at the Kampong Chhang Province, the Princess planted the first of hundred new trees that will be planted to mark DanChurchAid’s 100th anniversary.
