Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank welcome first child
On February 9, Princess Eugenie gave birth to her and Jack Brooksbank’s first child, a son, whose name has not yet been announced, at the Portland Hospital in London.
The baby boy was born at 8:55am GMT at weighed 8lb 1oz and is now 11th in line to the British throne. The baby will also have the title of Master Brooksbank and will not have a royal or noble title unless the Queen makes another decision.
Princess Eugenie announced the birth via Instagram, posting a photo of her newborn son’s hand. This was followed by an announcement from Buckingham Palace and a congratulatory Tweet from the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall.
Princess Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank, the son of an accountant with links to aristocracy, on 12 October 2018 at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.
