King Carl Gustaf downsizes royal house
On October 7, it was announced that King Carl Gustaf of Sweden had removed the HRH from the titles of Prince Carl Philip and Princess Madeleine’s children.
Whilst Prince Alexander, Prince Gabriel, Princess Leonore, Prince Nicolas and Princess Adrienne will retain their dukedoms and place in the succession; they will no longer be members of the royal family and will not be expected to perform royal duties as they grow older. The new laws don’t affect Crown Princess Victoria’s children.
Dick Harrison, a Swedish historian, stated that the royal house is larger than it has been in previous decades and there was no longer a need to pay for so many of its members.
Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia’s children will be able to live a “normal” life not in the spotlight thanks to the new laws and their parents will still continue to work with their charities and foundations, and also will be able to continue to undertake engagements on behalf of the king.

The children will remain part of the Royal Family; they will no longer be part of The Royal HOUSE.

This is not a bad thing. The little ones will keep their Titles, but they will be able to own lives.

God bless all Sweden Royal family
It is the King of Sweden’s call to decide on this. I hope this is not going to turn against the Royal tradition in Sweden.
