Dutch Royals Attend Remembrance and Liberation Day

On May 4th and 5th, members of the Dutch Royal Family attended the Remembrance and Liberation Day commemorations.
Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima, on Saturday May 4th, Remembrance Day, attended a memorial service at the Nieuwe Kerk along with the Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
On the same day, Princess Margriet, along with Prof. Pieter van Vollenhoven and Prince Pieter Christiaan, attended the commemoration at the Military Cemetery Grebbeberg in Rhenen.
On Sunday May 5th, Liberation Day, Prof. Pieter van Vollenhoven attended the annual Liberation Defile in Wageningen and then he was present at a memorial meeting held in the St. John the Baptist Church.
In the evening King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima, together with the Prime Minister Mark Rutte, were present at the traditional Liberation Day Concert on the Amstel River that close the celebrations of the National Liberation.
