Sweden’s Young Prince Oscar Turns Two

Prince Oscar, Duke of Skåne celebrated his second birthday on March 2 with a series of photographs (including one with his older sister Estelle) taken by photographer Erika Gerdemark.

Oscar Carl Olof was born on 2 March 2016 at the Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, the second child of Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel. He has an older sister, Princess Estelle, who was born in 2012.

Oscar was christened on 27 May 2016 at the Royal Chapel of Stockholm Palace. His godparents were Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, Princess Madeleine of Sweden, Oscar Magnuson and Hans Anstrom.
