Princess Ariane Breaks Wrist During Skating Accident

The RVD released a statement this morning saying that Princess Ariane, the ten-year-old daughter of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima, has suffered a broken wrist.

The injury occurred on Sunday when the Princess was out skating, and was confirmed during a hospital visit on Thursday morning. Ariane has been fitted with a plaster cast, which she will need to wear for three weeks.

Her doctor has said she will “probably” be able to ski during the family’s upcoming winter holiday in Lech.
