Prince Harry and fiancee Meghan Visit Edinburgh
On February 13th, Prince Harry and his fiancee Meghan Markle visited Edinburgh on their first visit together to Scotland.
Their visit started at Edinburgh Castle, where they greeted well wishers in the crowds and met Cruachan, the Shetland pony mascot of The Royal Regiment of Scotland. They then joined Sargent Dave Beverage for the one o’clock gun salute.
The couple then visited an enterprise cafe, Social Bite, where they spoke to founders Josh Littlejon and Alice Thompson. Social Bite distributes thousands of hot drinks and food to homeless people. Meghan commented after their visit that she wanted to work at the cafe as it seemed fun.
Afterwards, they visited Holyroodhouse for their final engagement, a celebration for Scotland’s Year of Young People in 2018.
