Felipe and Letizia Present National Innovation and Design Awards

On Monday at the Teatro del Bosque in Madrid, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain presented the 2017 edition of the National Innovation and Design Awards.

The awards are run by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness, to recognise Spanish “companies and professionals who have excelled during their exemplary carriers in the field of design or innovation”, with the essential factor of “increasing competitiveness and economic performance, as well as bringing quality of life to Spanish citizens”.

This year’s winners were Antonio Muñoz Beraza, the Spanish Society of Electromedicine and Quality S.A., Manuel Estrada Pérez and Actiu Berbegal and Formas S.A.

The Queen wore an eye-catching pale grey lace blouse from Zara, with large puffed sleeves gathering into cuffs at her wrists, over simple black trousers.
