Prince Hamzah and Princess Basma Welcome Fourth Daughter Together

On Wednesday February 7th, Jordan’s Prince Hamzah bin Al Hussein and his second wife Princess Basma welcomed their fourth child together, a daughter named Nafisa.

“God have mercy on you, my dear father, and thank God who gave me today my daughter Nafisa,” the new father posted on his Twitter account this morning. The baby was born on the anniversary of her paternal grandfather, King Hussein’s, death.

Queen Noor also posted on her social media accounts, saying that “our beloved King Hussein must be celebrating his granddaughter’s birth with us all”.

The newborn Princess joins older sisters Zein (b. 2012), Noor (b. 2014) and Badiya (b. 2016), and half-sister Haya (b. 2007).
