Sunday Service For The Windsors At St Mary Magdalene

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined the Duke of Edinburgh for the walk to St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham on Sunday, as members of the Royal Family accompanied Queen Elizabeth II for a Sunday church service. The 91-year-old monarch, wearing a pink and black ensemble, did not join the walk but was driven to church.

Also attending the service were Catherine’s sister, Pippa Matthews, and her husband James; the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley; James and Lady Laura Meade; and Thomas van Straubenzee. It is believed the Cambridges had a number of family and friends spend the weekend at Anmer Hall to celebrate Catherine’s birthday on Tuesday.

The Duchess – who is expecting her third child in April – donned a brown tweed coat with a fur hat to stave off the winter chill.
