Christmas With The Windsors: Royals Go To Church At Sandringham
As they do each Christmas, members of the British Royal Family gathered at the Queen’s Sandringham Estate for Christmas festivities. They all made the traditional walk to church – St Mary Magdalene’s – for a Christmas Day service on Monday.
Queen Elizabeth II (in a fetching bright orange coat and frock) was driven to the church, this year joined by the Duchess of Cornwall (in fuchsia with fur). A new ‘Fab Four’ made their first appearance together: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (donning Miu Miu tartan) alongside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who made her Christmas church walk debut in camel.
The Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Yorks, the Wessexes, and Princess Anne’s branch of the family (two of her granddaughters, Savannah and Isla Phillips, looking adorable in their red and navy coats) were all present, as were the Queen’s niece and nephew, Lady Sarah Chatto and the Earl of Snowdon, with their families.
