Meghan Markle joined the Clan Windsor at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday for her first family Christmas luncheon hosted by Queen Elizabeth II.

She arrived to the Palace with Prince Harry, smiling politely for photographers and the gathered crowd as their Land Rover zoomed through the Palace gates. Meghan previously joined her fiancee at the Queen’s staff Christmas party at Windsor Castle last week, and she will be spending the Christmas holidays at Sandringham with her future in-laws, Kensington Palace confirmed.

Every year, the whole extended Windsor family is invited by the Queen for a luncheon at Buckingham Palace in the week before Christmas. Everyone from the Queen’s children and grandchildren (and their children!) to her cousins, the Kent and Gloucester branches of the family, attend.
