Royal Princesses Make Their Debut At Le Bal des Débutantes
Several royal young ladies made their official debuts into society on Saturday evening at the famed Le Bal des Débutantes, held at The Peninsula Paris in the French capital.
Princess Charlotte of Nassau, only daughter of Prince Guillaume and Princess Sibilla of Luxembourg; Infanta Maria Francisca of Portugal, only daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Braganza; Princess Gauravi Kumari of Jaipur, only daughter of Diya Kumari Singh, the daughter of the last Maharaja of Jaipur; Princess Natasha d’Arenberg, only daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Arenberg; Amina Martinez de Irujo y Casanova, granddaughter of the late Duchess of Alba; and Maria Pia de Jong e Orléans-Bragança, daughter of Princess Maria Theresa de Orléans-Bragança, were among the ladies who made their debut.
Prince Paul-Louis and Prince Léopold of Nassau, Charlotte’s brothers, also took part in official proceedings for the evening, acting as cavaliers, as did  Infante Afonso and Infante Dinis, Infanta Maria Francisca’s brothers, and the titular Maharaja of Jaipur, Sawai Padmanabh Singh, who served as cavalier for Ava Philippe and led her in the opening waltz.
