Belgian King and Queen Visit the Province of Namur

Today, Thursday September 21, Their Majesties King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of the Belgians paid a visit to the Province of Namur.

The first stop was in the municipality of Sombreffe where they visited Bébé Bus, a childcare for children from 0 to 3 years that offers support to the parents. This service is active in 30 municipalities of the Province of Namur. The Royal Couple met with the founders of Bébé Bus, the employees and the babies.

Afterwards the King and the Queen visited TRAKK, a multidisciplinary space that aims to promote the emergence of creative projects across the Namur region. TRAKK is also a place where individuals, artists, developers, designers, students, researchers, architects and engineers interact to realize innovative project.

The visit ended in the Asty-Moulin school. The Royal Couple was informed about the Ecole Community Entrepreneuriale Consciente (ECEC) méthode that runs in the school. This project aims to educate youth in the view of conscious entrepreneurial approach and prepare them to place themselves at the service of dynamic human environments, creative and viable. The King and the Queen visited the laboratoires of the school and met with teachers and students.
