The Royal Family of Belgium was out in force on Friday to help the country celebrate its National Day.

King Philippe and Queen Mathilde were joined by their four children – Princess Elisabeth, Prince Gabriel, Prince Emmanuel and Princess Eleonore – for a Te Deum service at the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula in Brussels, while Princess Astrid and Prince Lorenz attended a service in Leuven, and Prince Laurent and Princess Claire one in Wavre.

The King and Queen spent time greeting members of the public who had gathered outside the Cathedral, before they moved on to the Place des Palais for the traditional military parade.

Afterwards, the two Princely Couples represented the family at the Festival in the Park, while King Philippe and Queen Mathilde headed to the Tomorrowland Music Festival where they met with Belgian musicians performing.

Queen Mathilde and her two daughters were all very well coordinated in shades of purple, which liked them to the purple Order of Leopold sash the King wore with his military uniform.
