Ladies Day at Royal Ascot
On June 22, it was the fourth day of Royal Ascot – and also Ladies Day!
Those who attended were Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Andrew, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, the Princess Royal, Tim Laurence, the Countess of Wessex and Zara and Mike Tindall.
Dubai’s Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Princess Haya as well as their daughter, Sheikha Al Jalila, were also there. Sheikh Al Jalila accepted a trophy from Princess Eugenie on behalf of Godolphin.
The Duke of Edinburgh was not in attendance as he was still recovering from his hospitalisation yesterday. The Queen presented the Gold Cup, which was won by her horse Big Orange, ridden by James Doyle.
