Cool Blue: Infanta Elena Presents Children’s Painting Prizes

Infanta Elena was fresh in shades of blue on Thursday as she presented the twenty-sixth annual National Heritage Child and Youth Painting Contest at the Palacio Real de El Pardo.

The contest is aimed at primary and secondary school children, with the aim of helping them learn about locations important to Spain’s national heritage and the Spanish Crown. The artwork the students create must “reflect the interiors or exteriors” of these locations.

After presenting the awards, Infanta Elena was taken on a tour of an exhibition of the artworks.
