On Sunday June 4, Prince Harry began his visit to Singapore on behalf of his charity Sentebale.

His first engagement was at the British High Commissioners’s residence, Eden Hall, where the Prince was shown a demonstration of Action for AIDS Singapore’s mobile testing van that provides rapid HIV tests.

In the evening, Prince Harry attended an iftar, the breaking of Ramadan fast, at the Jamiyah Singapore Centre. He was welcomed by hand drummers, before heading inside for the iftar, which also held a minute’s silence for the victims of Saturday night’s terrorist attack in London.

The President of Jamiyah Singapore said the group was “honoured” Harry joined in the iftar.

After a few days in Singapore, where he will play in a polo match tomorrow raising money for Sentebale, Harry will travel to Australia where he will launch the 2018 Invictus Games in Sydney on Wednesday.
