At the Hotel Villa Magna in Madrid on Tuesday evening, King Felipe and Queen Letizia helped to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of the Europa Press Agency.

The King spoke at the dinner, saying that the media “must remain a pillar of freedom for communication, and equally remain independent and respectful of political and social plurality, defenders of democratic values.”

Queen Letizia opted for a dove grey Nina Ricci midi dress featuring cluster appliqués for the event, which she wore with a pair of strappy heels and her hair in a ‘bubble ponytail’. A very unique look, one must say!

The Agency was founded in 1957 by Spanish journalist Torcuato Luca de Tena Brunet.
