Spanish Royals Celebrate Easter In Palma de Mallorca

  April 16, 2017 at 7:58 am by

As they do each year, the Spanish Royal Family has marked the Easter holidays in Palma de Mallorca.

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia were joined by their daughters, the Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofia (who is now officially taller than her elder sister), and the former Queen, Sofia, for Easter Sunday mass at the Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma.

They spent time posing for photos and passing Easter well-wishers to the crowd that had gathered outside the Cathedral, before greeting Sebastià Taltavull Anglada, the Auxiliary Bishop of Barcelona and Apostolic Administrator of Mallorca, and other clergy ahead of the mass.
