Queen Máxima Celebrates International Women’s Day

Today, Wednesday March 8, Her Majesty Queen Máxima celebrated International Women’s Day with a visit to the Single SuperMom Foundation in Amsterdam.

The Single SuperMom Foundation was established in 2008 and it is focused in the help of the single mothers that are in need to solve issues such as finding a work, dealing with ex-partner and raising children. The foundation provides activities and networking events that aim to increase the self-sufficiency, the economic position, the status and well-being of single mothers.

During the visit the Queen launched a self-empowerment workouts program that offer classes on site and online for the mothers.
