Albert, Charlene and The Twins Celebrate Saint Devote Day
Prince Albert of Monaco and his wife Princess Charlene attended service at Monaco Cathedral in Monaco as part of the Saint Devote day, A tradition in Monaco and one that the Grimaldi family have been celebrating since the 6th century.
After the service, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene were joined on the balcony of the royal palace to watch the Saint Devote procession by their two year old twins, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques.
On Thursday, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene attended the annual ceremonial ritual remembering the Saint’s final journey. The couple were given torches to to set fire to a fisherman’s boat, similar to what the Saint’s body was carried on. The twins did not attend the event.
