New Photos As Princess Ingrid Alexandra Becomes A Teen

Norway’s Princess Ingrid Alexandra today celebrates her thirteenth birthday, and the Royal Court has released a series of new photographs to mark the occasion. The photos were taken last month by Cornelius Poppe.

The Princess is the elder child of Crown Prince Haakon and his wife Mette-Marit, and is second in line to the Norwegian throne after her father. She was born at Oslo University Hospital Rikshospitalet in 2004 and has two brothers: one older, Marius Borg Høiby, and one younger, Prince Sverre Magnus. Should Ingrid Alexandra succeed the throne, she will become Norway’s first Queen Regnant since the fifteenth century.
