Queen Maxima Receives Scouts at Palace Noordeinde
This morning, Tuesday December 6, Her Majesty Queen Maxima met with 25 scouts from various Scouting organizations.
At the meeting were also presents directors of Scouting Netherlands and project leaders of Scout projects.
During a roundtable the Queen was informed about three projects that currently involve the Scouts: the first one is called Unlimited Adventure and aims to implement the socialization between disabled children with scouts; the second is the Volunteers in Scouting that trains young people in the field of voluntary work; the last one is a cooperation between the Scouts and the Salvation Army that help children with few opportunities to join a club or association.
Since September 2005 Her Majesty Queen Maxima is patron of Scouting Netherlands.
