Bringing Out A Favourite: Queen Margrethe Presents The Queen’s Watch

Queen Margrethe presented another edition of The Queen’s Watch today in Copenhagen, and the Queen with one of the most intriguing senses of fashion donned what seems to be one of her favourite hats considering the amount of times it is brought out of its hatbox!

Paired with an oversize electric blue coat, the matching blue hat features no brim, a black patent leather trim and what can only be described as an antenna on the top of the crown.

The Queen inspected a guard of honour of the Royal Danish Lifeguards, before presenting the watch to guardsman Ruben Algreen Dige. The award is presented to the guardsman selected by his superiors and peers as the ‘best’ guard in the service period.
