Felipe and Letizia Attend Princess of Asturias Awards Concert

October brings the laureates of the Princess of Asturias Awards to Oviedo, and tonight was the annual pre-awards ceremony concert held at the Prince Felipe Auditorium.

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia were present for the concert, where Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 in D Minor, Op. 125 ‘Choral’ was performed by the Princess of Asturias Foundation Choir and the Principality of Asturias Symphony Orchestra.

The Queen opted for a simple black cocktail dress with floral embellishments on the waist, while King Felipe wore a double-breasted blue suit.

The awards ceremony will take place tomorrow night.
